Music Contact My Space Sineterra Home The Sineterra word (literally without a country) suggest an approach to music meant as a route that cross over walls and borders, contemplating the journey, knowledge, broad-mindedness, curiosity. Born from the encounter of seven musicians, coming from different cultural and musical routes, the Sineterra band gives shape to a plan which intends to explore ethnic music through sounds of various musical kinds and carries out a research that values the common features and the differences between cultures. In the original compositions the Sineterra develops a dialogue between mediterranean-ethnic and jazz resonances, expressing humor, liveliness and dream. The feminine voice is used in the tracks of intimist and oneiric matrix, in order to create the suggestions of an imaginary instrument through a pre-meaning language.
